Privacy Policy
Last updated: · Applies to MTDA (“Machine Tool Drawing Automation”, internally “MTAP”), the desktop application, its licence server, and this website, operated by NTS — Niraja Techno Solution.
1. Who we are
NTS — Niraja Techno Solution is the data fiduciary for the personal data described here. Contact: geetesh@ntechnosolution.com, www.ntechnosolution.com. Registered address: Pune, Maharashtra, India.
2. What we collect, and why
a. When you register for a trial (this website)
- Name, company, work email, phone, country — to identify you, review the request, and contact you about the trial.
- Your description of intended use — to decide whether to grant a trial.
- IP address and timestamp of the submission — abuse prevention and rate-limiting only.
Lawful basis: your consent, given by submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in evaluating and running the trial programme.
b. When you use the MTDA application
- Hardware fingerprint — a one-way hash of your Windows install ID, disk serial and network adapter. The raw values are never sent. Binds a licence to a machine.
- Computer hostname and Windows username — shown in our admin panel so we know which machine/user is licensed or asking for support.
- Licence key and app version — identifies your seat and release.
- Usage counts and metered-export events (feature used, drawing type, and tool parameters such as diameter/length values, with timestamps) — to enforce plan limits, calculate any overage, support you, and see which features are used.
- Crash reports (error type, message, stack trace, OS version) — the only way we find and fix bugs you hit. De-duplicated by a hash; may be filed as an issue on GitHub with identifying details removed.
Lawful basis: performance of the licence contract (activation, metering, billing) and our legitimate interest in security and product improvement.
c. When you raise a support ticket
- Name, email, your message, optional screenshot, optional licence key — needed to respond to you.
3. What we do NOT collect
We never transmit the contents of your DXF/STEP drawing files, your customers' designs, keystrokes, screen recordings, or your browsing history. Tool parameters logged for metering and support (e.g. “Dc=10 mm, OAL=100 mm”) are numbers, not your files. We do not use your data to train machine-learning models. MTDA does not use advertising identifiers and does not display third-party advertising.
Distribution via the Microsoft Store
If you install MTDA via the Microsoft Store, Microsoft's own privacy statement also applies to that transaction: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement. This policy governs everything MTDA itself collects regardless of how you installed it.
4. Where it is stored and who can see it
On a database and mail account we control, hosted with a standard hosting provider. Access is limited to NTS staff through a password-protected admin panel. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Sub-processors we rely on:
- Hosting provider — stores the database and website.
- Email delivery — to send trial keys, invoices and support replies.
- Razorpay — processes card and online payments. Card details go to Razorpay directly; we never see or store them.
- GitHub — de-identified crash-report issue tracking only.
5. How long we keep it
- Trial registrations: up to 24 months from submission, then deleted or anonymised, unless they became a paid account.
- Licence, activation and billing records: for the life of the licence plus the period we are required to keep financial records under Indian law.
- Usage / metered-export events: up to 24 months, then aggregated.
- Crash reports: up to 12 months.
- Support tickets: up to 24 months after the ticket is closed.
6. Your rights (DPDP Act, 2023)
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
- Ask us to correct or complete inaccurate data.
- Ask us to erase your data, subject to retention we need for licence enforcement, billing and legal compliance.
- Withdraw consent for optional collection (this may reduce support quality; core licensing data is required to run the app).
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
- Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.
To exercise any of these, email geetesh@ntechnosolution.com or raise a ticket. We aim to respond within 30 days.
6a. If you are in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)
NTS — Niraja Techno Solution is the controller of the personal data described here. We process it on these grounds: contract (to provide your licence, support and invoices), legitimate interests (licence enforcement, security, fraud prevention and product improvement), legal obligation (tax and accounting records) and consent where we ask for it.
Transfers. Our systems are operated from India, so your data is transferred outside the UK/EEA. We limit what we collect to what is described above, restrict access to NTS staff, and use contractual safeguards with our service providers. Ask us if you want details of the safeguards for a particular provider.
Your rights in addition to those above: to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. We do not make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you may complain to us first, and you also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office; in the EEA, your national data protection authority).
7. Security
Data in transit is protected with TLS. Licence-server responses are cryptographically signed. Access to stored data is password-protected and limited to NTS. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the Board as required by law.
MTDA includes anti-tamper and licence-integrity checks that detect modification of the application, its licensing, or its hardware-fingerprint binding. If one of these checks is triggered, MTDA may log the event and report it to the licence server as part of normal licence enforcement; see the Terms, section 4a.
8. Children
MTDA is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date shows the current version; material changes will be notified by email to active licence holders.
